Henry Wellcome collected everything to do with medicine and health, from old instruments to curiosities from around the world. The permanent exhibition ‘Being Human’ asks what health means today, complemented by temporary exhibitions. The Reading Room, with its wide staircase for sitting, is a place to browse and rest. The building is opposite Euston station, handy for a visit before or after a train journey.
Wellcome Collection is a museum and library based at 183 Euston Road, London, England, displaying a mixture of medical artefacts and original artworks exploring "ideas about the connections between medicine, life and art". Founded in 2007, the Wellcome Collection has over 550,000 visitors per year.
